Birch Overlook & Prong Mountain cottages were built in 2000/01 by the owners for year-round use as vacation retreats. Each cottage is rustically charming and quite roomy, covered porches overlook the pond and surrounding mountains. These cottages sit on a small hilltop near the shore and are surrounded by naturally growing birch, spruce and cedar trees. Many large boulders, left by the receding glaciers, can be found scattered around the grounds. From the cottages, walking paths wind through the woods to several openings at the shore. Open areas around the cottages are planted in hardy local varieties of flowers and shrubs.
Outside: gas grill covered porch with wicker furniture dock with complimentary canoes/kayaks perennial gardens
Inside: fully equipped kitchen full bathroom with shower and tub downstairs bedroom with full sized bed upstairs bedroom with two twin beds upstairs loft with two twin beds open living/dining/kitchen area with beautiful pond and mountain views central heating TV/DVD/VCR and stereo with CD player Towels and linens provided
